Macadamia cultivation anchors a programme of suitable short-cycle crops, post-harvest handling and nut processing. Technical support, producer relationships and agreed benefit-sharing connect the growing region with long-term food markets.

Within the wider portfolio

Long-term relationships with farming households and cooperatives connect crop planning, post-harvest handling and processing with customer requirements. The approach combines food production with useful applications for agricultural by-products.

Solar-integrated farming and livestock

Mandavie's earlier agrivoltaic-farming studies considered macadamia and suitable crops alongside solar generation and dairy-goat farming. These studies inform the programme's food and energy development, with layout and implementation to be adapted to each site.
